Shamanic Journey for Divination and Healing

Shamanism is the most ancient of healing and divination practices on Earth. The most essential, core practice of the Shaman is trance work-learning to enter and exit this spirit realm. This is a realm beyond space and time, the realm of the compassionate spirits, power animals and guides. The indigenous people's conceptualize this as the lower world of the tree of life, while we live in the middle world of form and substance. In this workshop you will learn a way to enter a light trance, travel to the lower world, find your power animal or spirit guide and exerience that wisdom in the service of another. You will become the hollow bone, becoming the bridge for the spirits to cross over. The following workshop, assuming your acquisition of a power animal or guide, will focus on a soul retrieval of someone in the circle. Soul retrieval is the recovery of parts of our being that have become frozen in time, hidden away due to some form of trauma. Following your spirit guide’s wisdom and assistance, a shamanic traveler listens to their guide and embarks on a journey to recover the soul part and restore it to the whole, integrating it, welcoming it into one’s heart and life again.
