Morphic Field Movement

Movement precedes us, we don’t create movement. This practice is not dance, body expression, theater, nor performance — it is a composition of these, and more. We will use the intelligence of the movement to communicate. You can move being encouraged and guided by the intelligence of morphic fields (Rupert Sheldrake has published credible research about this). A morphic field is a field of energy that stores information; in the field exist dynamics, settings, games, processes; it is a memory field, it is an intelligent field. A morphic field is created when any of us introduces an intention and an action in space and time, which after being performed several times becomes a specific intelligence, then that intelligence influences the actions of a whole group and creates a memory of a way of doing things. We can create morphic fields at will, because our intelligence is able to. In a morphic field the communication is easy and instantaneous. What this workshop proposes is the creation of fields of intelligence through movement, because I believe that as human beings we are prepared to communicate with new languages. Art informs certain languages ​​that are developed over time, and perhaps now it's time to take those languages ​​as structures that allow us a different way to function in life. Morphic Field Movement becomes physical expression, borne from body languages, from the poetry of the body, from the clear expression of the bodies. More and more, all contemporary transformations are demolishing expressive grammars, we are naturally getting closer to creating a language that synthesizes all the expressive intelligence that has been previously recorded: from the rituals of the Greek mysteries that embodied myths, and later, tragedy and comedy; from each theater expression that countries and times manifest; from initiation rituals of all peoples; from the shamanic games and folk games; from all the dances that the hips and feet can do; until ballet, to contemporary dance and performance. What I would like to explore is the possibility of communication — not only in this dimension — but being able to express more subtle dimensions, more rare to our usual life; communicating realities that words can not name and the body can reveal. Morphic Field Movement is a proposal to create another type of communication — alternative now, and I hope definitive and more popular in the future. Something more instantaneous, pure, concise, and embracing our reality, which is much more than what we say and what we see, even much more than we recognize. We are in connection with other dimensions, and they are timeless. This is a feature of morphic fields, multidimensionality, and timelessness: past, present and future come together in a single moment, with full presence and influence in the present. What I want to do is use the possibility offered by the morphic fields to create a language that we can use to communicate multi-dimensions and influence a timelessness, a much fairer language that our intelligence is ready for. Maibel Monascal was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and while residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she developed an acting creative process through the use of group research and play creation experience.
