At Playa del Fuego (PDF), Camp Contacts offer Contact Dance & Acro Yoga classes, but many people aren't necessarily interested as much in dance. At PDF, we’ve been known in years past for a large, 30-ft geodesic dome that marked our camp’s location and identity. Inside this shaded dome, people have offered yoga, Thai massage classes and guided conversations in subjects around health and wellness, among many other activities. While our contact improv gatherings have been sometimes scheduled and led, many times they’ve been impromptu and organic. Recently, we’ve switched from the geodesic dome concept to creating a beautiful, large shaded area with two large parachutes that allow sunshine in, but keep the sun out.
