Camp Contact ReEmergence is our first event since COVID hit our world!
We'll be heading to the Farm for a Long Weekend. Arrive as early as Thursday Evening, April 22, and stay until Monday Morning. Come for the day or Come for the entire weekend. Bring your Tent to camp, or Camper, or check to see if we have any bunks open.
Event Guidelines:
--Please do not come to the event if you are at all symptomatic with possible COVID symtoms or may have been exposed to someone with COVID
--We are not requiring vaccinations, but highly encouraging them.
--We are not requring masks, but encourage them for anyone who feels called to wear them.
--If you wear a mask or gaiter, whether its on your neck or over your face, we will understand that this is the symbol that you want people to ask before getting closer than 10 feet to you. If you're not wearing a mask or gaiter, we will understand that you're OK with peopple coming close to you without asking. People should still ask before hugging or touching as a standard consent practice.
--We encourage carpooling and sharing rides. Please share on facebook if you need or can give a ride! We want to minimize the number of vehicles coming to the farm.
--We ask that you bring everything you need for the weekend and not plan on leaving the event and coming back. If you forget something check with us, we likely have a solution for you.
--This is a generally non-alcoholic event, although a drink or two of wine in the evening is within the realm of being appropriate.
--We ask that everyone help in the kitchen at some point during the weekend, whether its cooking, shopping or cleaning. We have a garden full of greens for salads, and may have other food available and will have the full camp contact kitchen setup and available for use.
--We will have a composting toilet and a portapotty available for the weekend. We ask that you pee in the woods if possible to avoid filling them up. We are also setting up a shower. Water is scarce on the land, please consider bringing your own drinking water.
There are some scholarships available, we are in need of an event coordinator.
