Camp CONTACT will be a part of the Inaugural PEX Summer Festival,
July 4th Weekend, Friday, July 3 - Monday, July 6th, in Darlington, MD.
Camp Contact is a camp dedicated to Contact Improv Dance and other
movement forms. We have a 30' in diameter covered dome that we set
up and use as our dance space. The space is available for classes
Camp CONTACT utilizes a 30' in Diameter Dome as one of its Dance Floors. The assembly of this dome is time consuming but has been enhanced through practice. This outlines our Top Down procedure for putting the dome together. It requires between one and ten (or more) people during the various stages of the assembly, and there are five key roles:
Bolter, Bolter #2 (optional), Staging, Bolt provider and Curve Maintainers, for twelve phases of assembly.

Brooking Gatewood (brookinggATgmailDOTcom) is our Kitchen and Meal coordinator this year. The meal plan is now complete - see below for daily menus and general snack/breakfast/lunch food info.
If this list doesn't feel like it will fulfill you, bring your own snacks/food supplements to make you happy.
Saturday the 23rd - set up folks are on their own for food. Darrell will bring snacks and dinner for Sunday night.
Sunday the 24th: dinner provided by camp, meal tba.
